Understanding the Asset Despawn Timer
In Swing Obby for Brainrots, the economy features an overarching risk-reward dynamic dictated by the Hard Despawn Timer. The moment an asset enters your inventory—or falls off its spawn pedestal—a ~90-second invisible countdown triggers. If it reaches zero before you secure the asset within your base zone, it deletes itself.
Why Power Level Matters for Return Trips
Many players assume Power only dictates how far they can launch outwards. However, pure kinetic velocity dictates your return speed as well. At higher Power levels, your character spends less time suspended in the air. A trip back from the 1,000× Terminal Island might take 55 seconds at Power 40, but a blistering 38 seconds at Power 75. A high Power level serves as an insurance policy against the despawn timer.
Momentum Breakers
When calculating risk margins, you must factor in unexpected delays. Hitting a Blue Rope (Kinetic Paralysis) kills all mid-air correction. Landing on a hazard pad resets your velocity entirely. Hitting a Yellow/Black Rope forces a ragdoll state. Any of these momentum breakers realistically adds 8 to 15 seconds to your return trip. If our calculator suggests your "safety margin" is less than 10 seconds, it only takes one single mistake to lose your entire haul.
